Rendezvous With My Dream…

Hii Guys..

Living how you love, makes life worth living…this is what i feel now..I went through several stages to reach my dream..here an insight to it… 😐

1) Firm Decision
2) Firm belief
3) Study material and Focused study
4) Dedication
5)Regularity
6) Smart Management
7) Consistency
8) Revision Revision Revision
9) The Last Shot “Exam Day”

As the internship starts we feel rejoice of having feel of a doctor, together with a worry in heart for future.. of getting a PG seat..There we find several views like getting management seat, clinical practice, MBA, or study for entrance exam… Above three choices seems easy but for the fourth one we find difficult to work upon. so dark path, no certainty and above all the immense hard work required to get it..

FIRM DECISION:-

Remember friends you can’t make decisions based On fear and the possibility of what might happen, it doesn’t take much strength to do Things but it requires a great deal of strength to decide what to do..

A firm decision is mandatory to get into the preparation..Either to jump out or stay in the boat…Half minded efforts cannot do the job.. Most of the guys fails at the very first step of taking a firm decision.
“When faced With the two tough choices, most people choose the third choice: not to choose” Only when you are ready in true sense and decided whole heartedly, it’s time to Work upon it… 🙂

“We all make choices, but in end our choices make us” so remember 3 C’s “Choice, Chance, & Change.. I made a Choice to take a Chance and make a Change…”

Firm belief: “Be sure you put your feet in right place, and then stand Firm”(Abraham Lincoln) “Having strong belief in yourself, your hard work and positivity Will make your path worth walking”

Once you believe in something it starts getting close to you, trust me guys This is absolutely true this is what I felt and gone through after reading book the Secret. It taught me how to attract the things and turn them into reality. “If i have the belief that i can do it, i shall surely acquire The capacity to do it even if i may not have it at the beginning”

Some people believe and some people think that they believe…Be the former one, 😐 Never listen to negative thoughts, never think that i can’t do, never let negativity to Get into your mind and see the magic 🙂

Always say that i will do it, it is possible and i will do,do,do, whatever be..Remember “Man is made by his belief ,as he believes, so he is”

Books I did :-

book
Dental pulse (12 times )
Mudit khanna(4 years )
Amit ashish (4 years)(15 times each)
Nbde clinical and basics..(3 times)
Ritu duggal(ortho,pedo,cons prostho)(4 times)
Pankaj dhawan prostho(4 times)
Neeraj wadhwan(8 times)
Explore(8 times)
Prabhakar (3 times)
Bytes (4 times)(10-11 months study)
These are books i did…Although I missed AIPG but this reading helped me a lot…After reading these books we develop a sense of answering the questions, to exclude the wrong options and to reach a correct one..MCQ reading doesn’t only mean cramming the previous questions and answers; in my view it’s a slow process which develops your sense of answering any question wisely.

In comedk or other exams where I got good rank is, not only because I answered repeated questions, it happened because I answered unknown questions wisely. Marking repeated questions correct take you into the competition but answering unknown questions wisely will take you to the top.
By the word “wisely” I want to convey that after reading a question we should never give up, there is always something we know in each question, we mark them wrong because in exam hall we doesn’t reflect and ponder upon it after reading the question..we just consider it tough at a glance..
After yearlong preparation and reading so many books we surely will be able to exclude two options if we focus on question with tendency and believe that I know this question. this makes answering easy and chances of marking unknown questions correct increases tremendously.

I will just say..

“NEVER GIVE UP ON ANY QUESTION UNTILL YOU REACH AN ANSWER”

(Courtesy Dr. SWATI PATEL Mam)

For comedk I added Madhu Jumla past two years question papers, medical comedk (although I dint notice any question from there..Still fair chances, better to do)

DETERMINATION:-

free-poster-6n7mh3utvk-DETERMINATIONBelieve me friends this quality will make you very close to your dream…A Dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work ; dedication to do the job at hand and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to task at hand. Never hesitate to work hard, never think of result, Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta me bhi likha hai:

“fal ki chinta mat karo bas karm karo “..pata sabko hai…isme believe and follow only few does..

REMEMBER “Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough”

“GOLD MEDALS ARENT REALLY MADE OF GOLD THEY ARE MADE OF SWEAT, DETERMINATION AND HARD TO FIND ALLOY CALLED GUTS”

REGULARITY 🙂 (Especially for Aimmds students)

logob

A MAN WHO WORKS REGULARLY, IN A SYSTEMATIC FASHION, NEVER FEELS OVER WORKED OR TIRED. HE KNOWS HIS LIMITS AND IS ABLE TO DO IN FAIR TIME, ALL THAT HE UNDERTAKES. IT IS NOT HARDWORK THAT KILLS A MAN, BUT IRREGULARITY OR LACK OF SYSTEM” (M.K. GANDHI)

This regularity helped me a lot; I used to attend the classes regularly. i never thought that I will watch recordings..

Attending classes helps you to be in touch with staff and fellow students, a learning environment with interactive discussion helps you retaining things longer and in a better way…sometimes we don’t focus so deeply while we watch recording..But in class we never miss those things while discussion. I really trust aimmds faculty, I have faith in them, I attended almost every class, it was just a routine for me… Initially when I started with preparation and was not serious about attending classes, I had lot of back logs, and stress…which was not after attending regular classes..

I still remember the words of Shweta mam on Diwali, I asked her “Mam, why you came to teach on Diwali”?she replied “because I want to see you doing PG next Diwali”.. and when being a Pedodontist she could spoil her Diwali for us.. why can’t we??? 🙂

WE CAN’T AFFORD TO MISS EVEN A SINGLE CLASS…NOT EVEN ON BIRTHDAY…
Believing faculty gives you positive energy, together with lots of inspiration… keep in mind the following points :-

-Belief in Mentors.
-Regular Classes.
-Regular Test.
-Regular Revision.

SMART MANAGEMENT:-

Studying a lot books leads to boredom.. Here comes the smart study…

As soon as you find it difficult to concentrate and feel any chapter /topic is irritating me..just relax for 5 mins and switch to your favorite and the easiest topic.

Always reserve such topics. Don’t do such easy and favorite topic when you are in high spirit..Do them when you are low..
Pick the toughest one when you are at highest of your energy. This will help you avoiding unnecessary depression we face while studying..
Reading MCQ‘s with explanation till 3rd-4th reading after this better to do MCQ‘s only..

-Following marking pattern
-Regular brush up
-Giving test
-Entertainment; outing with a friend/friends or family once in a while

After some days your mind/heart will say to have some enjoyment…And please don’t restrict it, have some…and immediately return to your job after it.
Reading many books doesn’t make you champ retaining what you read will make you… My point is that reading several books is good but it’s better to know thoroughly at least one book..For e.g. pulse 95 % questions you should know thoroughly..
In the end retaining on the exam day is important not the number of books..

CONSISTENCY:-

“It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives…it’s what we do consistently”“Success is neither magical nor mysterious. Success is the natural consequence of consistently applying basic fundamentals”

BE CONSISTENT, DO EVERY THING EVERY DAY TO MAKE YOUR DREAM CLOSER TO REALITY..HARD TIMES ARE NO EXCUSE TO QUIT. If we wish to be victorious, successful and a true champ we need to be consistent and persistent. Regularly reading staying away from the disturbance such as face book, family function, marriage etc,etc,..These thing will not let us to be consistent..do these to refresh yourself not more than that.. 

REVISION REVISION REVISION:-

revisions-calendar
This will make you Hug your Dream..
Revision is the key to get success in any exam. As told retaining things will make you champ…revise revise revise revise until it mixes with your RBC’s WBC’s and flows into your veins..
Revise with the smart and planned manner, follow marking pattern and revise as much as you can…
By the end we must revise around 1200-1500 MCQ in a day (you could do more)
Revise the things with speed, don’t linger much on debatable, controversial, arguable MCQs
Revise all the simple and normal once Nicely…

THE LAST SHOT: EXAM DAY:-
Ohh…this is the day when you have to believe yourself like anything…

Never carried away by looking at the number of people giving exam, believe in yourself and your yearlong study..And just do your best.. Take a good night sleep..Have light breakfast and a fresh and healthy mind. Just be positive and positive and positive on that day no matter what..Do your best.. Never consider yourself inferior to others believe yourself like anything…do the things with presence of mind and with logic..Then see the miracle.. 🙂

Guys…so much I wrote..So much to write still I end this with a hope that it will help you in a positive way and it’s a just small effort to share my experience of yearlong study…(10-11 months)
“BEST OF LUCK”
