How to Solve an Entrance examination Paper

tipHere I am writting down ONE OLD TIP 😀 everybody knows it but most forget to follow it and thats what makes the compition easy for those who follow it

Okay First thing, reach your exam hall before time, so that you can cope up with the ” Heavy pounding heart beats ” . Yes its very important to calm down before you have your paper in hand. Remember stress does noooo good .. it does all the harm. so breath in deep and relax.

Once you have your paper in hand, it would be in sealed state and you are not allowed to open it thats good , you again get some time cope the heart beat that touch of the question paper causes

okay now gear up to solve your paper, Keep one thing in mind , You have ample of time, We hardly have mathematical questions , so just be very calm and stable while solving. Dont rush , dont be hasty.

Always solve your paper in rounds:

  •  Round 1: In the first round only solve the well known questions were in you are 100% sure of answers. Rather in this round you will be solving the repeated questions, which you have come across during your preparation.
  • Round 2: Here you read and answer the new questions or the question which need a litle thought., which may need application of the concept, but again no guessing in this round. Apply the theory, Logic , rulling out techniques to reach a single answer. If in any particular question you still have 2 options confusing, dont spend much time here, leave it for round 3.
  •  Round 3: Here you answer the question where you are atleast able to rule out 2 options. In an entrance exam with negative marking , I would personally not suggest you to mark the question if you are not able to rule out at least 2 option.
  •  Round 4: Round of the wild guesses, This round actually is important for exams with no negative markings. here you just rely on your gut feeling to answer the questions which you dont know at all. but again look for hint in question, in the language of question , in the grammer of options ; try developing this skill during your preperation itself In the exams with negative markings I would suggest dont solve many questions in this round, you should only guess if there is good reason to , because it may really cost you a lot.

1. Lasty Dont forget to screen the paper , for any by mistake left out questions.

2. Remember during every step, before marking match the serial number of question and answer, be carefully dont do mistake in marking that would be real waste of all your efforts.

Well throughout the paper, be cool, not hasty, not stressed.
